May 2027 marks the 50th anniversary of the release of the original Star Wars movie. Also, the new Star Wars movie Starfighter is released.
This discussion club session takes a look at Star Wars movies and why they’ve remained so popular and meaningful to audiences.
James was a regular writer for the Star Wars Insider magazine.
James is the writer of the book Bodies in Heroic Motion: The Cinema of James Cameron.
Each session will run for three hours (including breaks).
About the tutor;
James’s writing has been published by 3D World, ImagineFX, Suffolk Norfolk Life, Little White Lies, Empire, and SFX. His books include: The Virgin Film Guide: Animated Films, Bodies in Heroic Motion: The Cinema of James Cameron and Bond: Photographed by Terry O’Neill. In recent years, James has worked as a script reader for the BFI and been BAFTA longlisted as a short-film producer.
